Rock's 35 years of experience have all culminated in Rock FRESH, his latest culinary adventure. From humble beginnings at the Bucket Shop in the 1970's, to founding the famed Rockne's franchise, then onto an organic eatery at Northside and many other restaurant ventures, his passion for food and pleasing people shines here. His philosophy of "great food fast", healthy choices for you and your family, are brought to you with speed and only the best ingredients. "We want you to connect to food like you are supposed to, so you can taste the what goes into it with no distractions" says Rockne. "Our plan is to give you food so hearty and real, you won't even miss the television. The chicken soup is so good, I almost named the place "Chicken Soup!" Soon you will be able to buy jars of that soup to take home for your pantry.The staff at Rock FRESH includes students from the business program at the local high schools that Rockne is mentoring. They are learning everything from how to make the food to what goes into organizing a small business. They bring creativity and energy to what is already a fun family environment.
Future plans include adding a breakfast menu, and Growler beers for lunch and dinner. Rock FRESH offers take home family style dinners for busy working moms and dads, and office group meals too. Call for details.
